Couple of queries.

Folks,

I picked up my D4 Landmark MY2011 last weekend and loving it.

However I have a couple of queries I would like to ask about.

1. I have noticed when I have stopped the engine after a journey there is a fan running noise for a few minutes before it stops. There is no sign of over heating when driving. Is this a normal thing with discos to run for a cool down period when stopping??

2. The only other thing wrong with the car is there are two bulbs on the under side of the boot door that are not coming on. Are these switched on somewhere or should they come on when the boot is opened and the bulbs are away?

The fan is normal and has happened on both my D4's
As for the bulbs, are they the ones in the upper tailgate handle, if so these are the number plate lights and should work when the lights are on. If they are not the ones you are on about, then post a photo so we can see what they are. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Thanks Russell,

Thought that might be the case with the fan.

Lights - Just been out again to check and yes they are the number plate lights and working fine with the lights on Embarassed I had only noticed them when retrieving something from the boot......until now.

Much more stupid questions to come I guess!!
