bad things happen if you unplug them while the engine is running

Won't the hard reset from the diag tool fix this disconnecting the injectors while running issue!?
Or does that mean it become a permanent problem!?

I've just changed my battery and found landrover has uped the specs for tdv6 to 115ah 900A for up to SE and a 950A for HSE. Mines an S but i put the 950A as our street always freezes really bad in winter so few more cranking amps.
