Creaky/squeak noise on first start this morning..

Started the D3 up this morning, glow plug light stayed on a tad more than when warm, but I noticed almost like a creak noise for a split second on start up, imagine a creaky metal gate haha.

Could this be anything I need to investigate or just one of those things?

Anybody have any ideas on this? It wasn’t your usual belt noise..

It was quite a loud rotational creak noise, that lasted a second. Didn’t hear it again all day and the car ran faultlessly.

However I guess I’m nervous about it as I’ve heard a similar creaking/squeaking noise on a few videos of bearing failure..

But then on the other side I would imagine if it was bearing related it wouldn’t happen once and dissapear..

Enough of my rambling, I know it’s vague but if anyone has another potential explanation or any thoughts I’d be grateful Smile
