Crosover pipe
Most probably I have to remove the crossover pipe on the 2005 D3 tdv6 of my son. With the engine running it makes a very loud sound like a there is a rupture on the exhaust pipes there. I put my hand and fill some leaking on the left side. He tells me that on voyage it goes some fumes into the cabin and a lot of heat into the frivers side (RHd).There is a very good thread here https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/cross-pipe-...sover+pipe
Besides that, there are two things that is I have to question:
1st - The bracket on the COP is to remove from the engine or gearbox (I don't know where it is attached) or it is enough the bolts to secure the COP to the bracket?
2nd - After all this bolts are undone, will the COP came out easily? Or (probably) I have to make some magic tricks to remove it?
Thanks in advance
Cheers

Good luck with that. I did mine (DIY body off) and 3 of the bolts were blobs of rust. Ended up removing them with a hammer and chisel. No way would you have managed with body on.
Have you costed in a 2 post ramp - they are not that expensive and will be useful for future work (I keep telling myself!)

Crossover pipe
I'm going to do the job on the ground (body on) with axle stands.
