Cruise control/ clock spring????????????
Cruise not working but if i turn the engine off then back on when driving it starts to work.
Any body got any ideas, is first thing the clock spring and are these easy to fit.

To fit a new Clockspring/Rotary Coupler its wheel off to reveal it.
its actually a cassette with the old type of foil to carry the signals, maybe one has broke, but i would check the switches 1st on the wheel, not unheard for them to fail.
Mine too, not sure if it's the clockspring or software. All other steering wheel buttons ok, so I can live with it.Previously:

The cruise control on mine hasn't worked in the 3 months I've had it!
Also, all the lights on the steering wheel switches flicker when driving during the hours of darkness...
The volume control switch works only when it wants to...
I find these faults to have an endearing quality about them......
