Cruisecontrol only works now and then:-(
The cruisecontrol on my D3-05 only works now and then. I can use it on and off maybe 5 times and then suddenly i cant re engage. If i stop and start it may start working again, but not always.
The IID tool shows this fault. Any ideas?

I had a new clock spring and 95% of the time it works fine but on the odd occasion it still plays up so next step is to trace the wiring

Had a similar issue with my D3.
Turns out for me it was the wiring harness in the steering wheel and not the clock spring.
For what it’s worth, the steps I went thru checking this and fixing this I covered in this thread
