Cubby fridge repair

My cubby fridge/cooler has stopped working has anyone tried just replacing the peltier from ebay etc if so does anyone have a how to guide

Yes I did in my old car a while back there one on here, but it's simple enough, just get the screw driver out and make sure you wire it the correct way round Thumbs Up

You then remove the 4 screws that hold the fan on to reveal a big heat sink. There are then 2 screws that you remove to take the heat sink off. Behind the heat sink is the ceramic square and another small heat sink (that is fixed to the body of cool box from the inside).

I found that there were 2 possible problems. The ceramic device or what I believe to be a thermostat on top of the small heat sink. Looking at the way everything is connected if the fan runs the problem is the creamic device if not then the thermostat.

Thanks for that, my fan runs its just getting the correct parts as all the ones I have seen on ebay have fins where the ones on the car are a square block screwed with four screws to the body of the cooler its this I cant find
