they look good. ya youy thinking about making a few of these? mabie you need a couple guys to help test them? Rolling Eyes If not keep us posted on how it went I have been toying with making my own as well. If a guy could make these and have a profit with the price around 600 he would sell a ton. everyone wants a slider that protects the compressor but they are not cheap.

This all looks great... however, How about to put some "spacers" or some sort of side tubes ?

Our country seems greener than the desert and most injuries to the car are coming from close encounters to side rocks and tree stumps... The Defenders of this world have their own rock slider that not only protect the body from below but also from the side... Adding some extra protection (say 2-3" away from the car body) would be to my mind the greatest value on Planet LR3...
A second D3 ! This time with all whistles and bells (Auto, 7seats, Diff Lock, RAI, all kinds of protections, winch, Extended range tank, iPod adapter....)
First time twice the same car ! and first time third car of the same brand !

I'm loving it !

You mean like this?

I make these myself - the stand-off tube just clear the wheel arches. The 'rock slider' part wraps around the sill, but doesn't cover the air compressor (there's a different plate for that) so that you can access the pump without removing the sliders. It also allows the (monoque) body to remain separated from the chassis rails.

Cheers,

Gordon
