Hello all, 650 miles later and I’m back from Devon. Finally have access to high speed internet. Overall very happy with the car and it provided itself in the flooded lanes of Stoodleigh. On the way up the TMC kicked in and navigated us around the closed a303 (very impressed).
Spent 3.5 hours on Thursday putting the side steps, colour coded bumpers and front light guards on, just need to fit mud flap and rear light guards on. I have taken some photos, just need to find the USB cable to sync up with my lappy. I think this is in the office so will upload in the week.
I had forgoten what it is like to own and landy, poeple come up to you to have a chat, in the petrol station, car park and even traffic. Mostly old boys talking about there Series 2 back in the day.
On the downside, I seem to be getting a knocking noise from the driver’s side front when on lock and on an incline, any ideas?
I don’t think my next door neighbour is to impressed, my car fills the parking space right up to the white line and he struggles to get out of his car. 
Looking forward to this week as I have booked lots of appointment all over the place so I can drive my D3?
