Durty Disco,

I just wondered how "PROTECTIVE" the RED CROSS/CRESENT would be with me using there logos In this picture? Wink

I would imagine they wouldn't mind, as both of those guys are probably military medics! The Military have different rules and regulations and are governed by the First and Second Geneva conventions, which I am sure you already know.

Though I am surprised to see both guys quite heavily armed as medics are usually armed for "self & casualty defence"

Article 2 of protocol 3 recognizes an additional distinctive emblem, the Red Crystal, that may be used in addition to, and for the same purposes as, the Red Cross and Red Crescent symbols. All three emblems are appointed the same legal status.

There are two distinct uses that are recognized for all three emblems

Protective use. Medical and religious personnel may mark themselves, their vehicles, ships and buildings as a sign of their humanitarian mission and protected status under the Geneva Conventions, particularly the First Geneva Convention. The protections of the Geneva Convention do not depend on the wearing of the emblem. The emblems are merely a visible sign of the protected status of individuals. Members of the armed forces may use these markings at all times. Civilian institutions such as hospitals may use these markings temporarily, within the context of an armed conflict.

Indicative use. Members of the movement may wear the emblems in both times of conflict and times of peace as an indication of their membership.

Misuse of these emblems is prohibited by international law. Misuse may diminish their protective value and undermine the effectiveness of humanitarian workers.

Use of one of the emblems in order to protect combatants and military equipment with the intent of misleading an adversary, perfidy, is considered a war crime.

Looks great, but I would lose the side steps and put some decent sliders on if you are planning on doing any serious off roading as the ally steps will last about 10 minutes....

Something like this would be better for you, take it from experience

I'm taking the mickey mate Wink I'm the guy on the left Laughing Weapons wise Terry Taliban and his mates don't care about the emblems Rolling Eyes so you have to have enough kit to protect yourself & your casualties for a considerable amount of time hence the mags & ammo from hell Very Happy

Another questions for you too? Confused You mentioned the 2 silver Discos which where used for medical support ambulances during the 2008 Challenge. Do you have any images of them, or info on spec?

Cheers
