Are D3 and D4 Auto gear levers interchangeable?
As above are the D3 (UCB500072 / UCB500071) and the D4 (AH22-7Z370-AC) auto gear levers (not the dial version) interchangeable - they look identical?
Does anyone know?

Should be. Same gearbox & surround.

The part numbers are for the full unit not the lever - ie the lever, cable and box joining it all up

I'm sure I read somewhere you need to swap the plastic shaft over?2006 TdV6 HSE.

Not trying to stop a sale DSL but have a look on PowefulUK as they do different finishes on them. Want the dark walnut one myself but never seems to be in stock 2006 TdV6 HSE.

Ah, those bits. I didn't bring them back, the cable was toast anyway.
Breeding parts, hmmmmmmm now that would pay the D4's diesel bill on the next road trip.

Every day’s a school day.
PS it was the gearbox end bit of that fell apart on me in NE Finland. Nothing a tow truck, ramp, mechanic and a few cable ties didn’t fix.

Mine lasted 164k miles. Lots more to go wrong before that will fail.

My crank was still in one piece. Well one big one and millions of tiny pieces as it reduced in size with much pain and anguish.
