how do those tyres and wheel arches get on with full articulation (well, any articulation ) they seem very closeDuncan

It looks like the body has been strapped down( straps on the winch bumper) , compressing the suspension and filling the arches.2014 D4 XS

hi guys , just got back from the challeng , tougth weekend but me and my codriver managed 3rd overall , and 1 of only 2 landrover 90s to start and the only one 2 finish 8) 8)
d3 performed faltlessly first time towing the90 its ace , stackes of power , only had the traction warning light come on once in a fast corner
as for the 90 , yes it is stapped down in the pics compressing the suspension , probably pulled down 3" on each corner .(tows better with no top heavey wobble)
what you cant see on the pics is the damage to the front wings , quite bend back when the corner is under compression turning etc
the rear wheels/tyres under articulation tuck tight up under the spats and come very close to hitting the tub ,
but the whell arch spats are made of rubber as some one said and do flex ,
it ''might'' be on the buxton and district landrover clubs stand @ the indoor 4x4 show next weekend if there other car does not show
will try put some pics up of the weekends challenge when i get them , unless its stricktly discovery related pics only in here ?
