Hastings to North Kent at 0230hrs in the D3, faultless in the snow on MTR's.
Why do I hate it?
Only driver that's got in And now in Liss in a artic and unable to do the last mile as the county lane is snow covered with a gradient

I made the comment just now at breakfast: "Cool, I'll get to see what this car can really do..."
My 9-year-old daughter's response: "We'll be standing by to call 999 then." 55-Reg Java Black SE, Unlocked SatNav (via Wiggs and Bodsy), Nudge Bar/Driving Lamps/RAI, Front & Rear Lamp Guards, RLD Sump Plate, RLD spare wheel protector

I left Gloucestershire at 6:30 with dry roads and minus 1. Didnt have radio on and had not heard news so was blishfully unaware of what was happening in the east
Got as far as Reading Services and had to pull off as window messed up completely and washers fronzen.
Services was like an ice rink.
After sliding around all over the place finally made it into work in Farnborough, only to find only about 3 other in here as they knew it was snowing.
Should mention, I am in the Merc Auto so NOT FUNNY. Too much torque and slides at the least bit of slush/ice.

Al
I think the weight might help increase grip. sound wierd but pressure melts ice. it does seem to find an impressive amount of grip in difficult conditions. only problem ive noticed is driving too fast on light slush (looked like ordinary wet road at first) producing increased aquaplaning. Caused a light waiver, foot off the go pedal and all was well. There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song
