Nearly new Zero's last year - great traction going through everything snowy, just difficult to stop... 2.7 tonnes is a lot of momentum on any rubber. Looking forward to seeing if the ATR's are any better this year.

D3 in winter conditions

I share same experience with Paganuk. With Wrangler 235/17 M+S on my first D3 "S" I experienced downhill drive with 5 pasangers on really hard snowfall. I engaged a Hill descent control on a mountain road (like a blue ski - slope) and did not have any problems with tyres. On the empty parking place, covered with snow, I exercised an incident situations: urgent breaking, urgent and sudden turning on a side trying to make a gliding. I was surprised and used to, what could expect in those conditions. My next D3 "SE" Auto wore a Scorpion. But I must replace it after 38000 km compared with my Wranglers from S model, I replaced after 45000 km.Now I bought new Wranglers M+S, 265/60-18. Because of occasional snowfall in my region (100 m/ above sea), and only need for going ski in Austria, I am satisfied with Wranglers, and don't need a snow/ice tyres. Whistle

There was snow on the ground in North Wales yesterday morning (Blauenau Ffestiniog area). Just enough to have a quick snow ball fight then the rain came and it all but disappeared from the lower levels (mountains still had a good coating).
