I was with liverpool/victoria but kept upping price fell out at £545 went online and paid £292 plus £16 for protection all for same conditions that L/V were offering so pays 2 shop around..
£580 (ish) with Privilege, not garaged, very high risk area (apparently). Land Rover Insurance wanted over £1400 AA wanted £1200+.
Thats not Essex, its inside the M25 for starters.
I actually think that £580 aint bad compared with what I have paid back "home" back in the olden days.

IG1 - Essex postal address, but London borough. Like you said, more London than Essex!
I'm happy with the £580 - cheapest insuarance I've ever had! Just annoyed I can't get offroad cover. Everywhere else I've tried is a 4 figure sum, and thats with 8 years NCB. Disco 5 HSE Lux

IG1 is close, Ilford way ?. I live in Buckhurst Hill just around the corner, small world.

I haven't checked around for cheaper rates yet but currently paying $1700 annually with esurance.I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?

I thought esurance was supposed to be cheaper. Farmers charges me $1504 per year, and I have an accident a a couple of speeding tickets on my current record. Although the speeding tickets are soon to drop off. I don't have minimum coverage either: 350K-1,000. Also live in a high cost area of the PRK. It used to be, but they keep hiking it up every time I change my policy & I have less points than before - just 2 now, used to be 10 I went to change my address online and it would've gone up almost another $300...so I didn't change it I definately need to get some quotes elsewhere. SF is probably better coverage too.I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?
