My D3 is running well today..... |
|
Just thought in view of the recent threads about how good news is never posted on these kinds of forums (fora?) we should have a thread celebrating another day of trouble free motoring.....
Can this one run to 300 pages as well as the Welcome to the D3 topic? If we all posted every time the car went well there would be some measure of reliability for the casual browser
So.......
My D3 (now 4.5 years old) is running very nicely today, having towed a horsebox from the topmost tip of Skye to Glasgow at the weekend. Comfort and practicality - even the pony was pleased. None of the jerky gear changes from the P38 that she is used to.... Managed 27mpg for the journey too which was impressive considering the hills that had to be traversed on the way.

Mine ran great form the 21st Oct all the way down to the Pyrenees, over the lanes of the Pyrenees, down towards Barcelona and all the way back home again, around 2,600 miles Although it was a little noisy on the trip back home I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Mine is running beautifully, like a scalded cat with a remap and clean intercooler. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

1000miles to and from and around Cornwall last week.
Loaded to the gunnells with all my crap and still got 30mpg with Shells finest, purring along nicely.
And mine is 7 years old in Jan!!
Sweet.
