D3 scared my wife! She refuses to drive it now.
My wife stalled the D3 at the traffic lights yeterday whilst pulling away resulting in all kinds of alarms and beeps going off and a loud screech of the hand brake coming from the rear!
Is this normal behaviour by the D3??? I assume that stalling kicks off various sensors and that this also engages the emergency hand brake? I need to calm her down as she is seriously unhappy and too many blasphemous words.
Cheers.

Do you have a fault code reader that can see what the car thinks went wrong?

I do not have a fault code reader. There are no warning signs, she turned off the engine ignition and then restarted and all is well. I hope so anyway. I am also checking the hydraulic tappets so may well take it to the local dealership and have them plug in the diagnostic system to see if there is any issues.
Cheers.
