D4 2010 6 Speed Kick down

Hi All, have noticed since purchasing the D4 that the 6 speed box seems to hang in 6 at 1200rpm and when you apply throttle its very lazy in changing up I don't remember my D3 6 speed doing this. Is there a software update for this or something else that is known about. I can get is to change down but with more throttle than I would expect. Initially also you get a increased tone from the car I expect this is because the gear is too low ?

If you are in 6th in a 6 speed box you cant change up as there is no more gears to select? Slightly confused about your issue?

The boxes are adaptive and learn your driving style over time I believe so perhaps the previous owner was a 'sunday driver' and didn't really press on??

Hi So sorry for the confusion I meant when In 6th gear and want the box to change up to 5 Smile

So then I can reset the adaptive learning in the software with The IID tool and is should re-learn my driving style ?

So in my book that's changing down hence the confusion Laughing

And yes you can reset the box and let it re-learn
