The end came with the pump - it is a tight fit over the vacuum pipe but that's a good thing - very secure and a good seal.

So I did the oil change today - now has Motul in it rather than the unknown oil done as a service by the dealer I got it from.

Got the engine up to temperature and then loosened the filter housing and the filler cap and sucked out the oil - took less time than I expected - must have been 6-8 mins and no mess at all.

New filter in and all done in 15 mins with no oil on the drive or under plates to re attach.

Could I ask please what size & make Oil Extractor you are using?
Also does this come with the blue coloured or oil filled pipe and adaptor
to fit the D4 vacumn connection?

Many thanks
Dave

Hi Dave

I got my extractor from Amazon - its a ColdShine 9L Oil Suction Fluid Diesel Liquid Extractor Removal Transfer Vacuum Hand Pump. Cost me £33.49 and it comes with a rubber connector which fits over the extraction pipe on a D4 - its a pleasingly tight fit.

Yes the blue coloured (but actually clear) oil filled pipe and connector are included

I won't be scrabbling around removing under engine plates again!

Okay, just one question (I think I'm being a bit thick, but have to ask). Do you need to feed a tube down into the extraction pipe to the bottom or is it a case of sealing the top of the extraction pipe to the tube that leads to the pump?

No, just put the end of the Hose over the top end of the extraction tube. Monitor the amount of Oli coming out ~ 6 liters and you are good to fill up with fresh oil.
