d4 3ltr v6 v new rrs 3ltr v6

When I was in the dealer last night picking up my new d4, I was looking at the new rrs.

I looked at the engines and it appears that the new rrs 3ltr sdv6 produces more power and is only 199 on the emissions which means 260/year road tax.

Does anybody know if this is the same lump as the d4 3ltr sdv6 and if it is how come it produces less emissions and more power, but is cheaper on the old road tax.

May be this is the lump they are putting in the face lift d4?

I understand that the new RRS has 2 SDV6 power options; one as per the D4 and one higher output version.

Emissions is linked to mpg and mpg is linked to a few things including weight. It is this final element where the new RRS scores over the D4.

Thumbs Up

Have you got your D4 yet Jamie? Saw the D3 still parked in your road this morning.

I have indeed Very Happy

Running both until I get rid of the d3, got to strip some of the upgrades off of it and put some on to the d4, expo rack, tv tuner etc.

A guy at work is interested in the abar and spots, just got to get a few spares hours to get it off.
