Morning All, could someone please let me know what belts I need to change on D4 as it's now 7 years old with 70000 miles on the clock? I've heard people talking about it on this forum but haven't got a clue and don't want to get ripped off at a dealer? Secondly could someone please let me know a rough cost to change all the said belts and finally I would welcome any recommendations for a good specialist that could do the work in London/Essex? The belts are the same as a D3, the only difference is the rear belt is timmed on the D4.
So you would need the following.
Front Cambelt, two ideler wheels and the front tensioner
Rear Cambelt ( HPFP Belt) and Tensioner.
Expect to pay around the £600.00 to £700.00 or even more at Main dealers.
