D4 Black Pack - what does £1900 get you?
Just looking at the spec of a new car and saw the white D4 on p52 of the new brochure. I think it looks v 8)
It looks like it costs £1900 for a set of black alloys, which seems like a complete rip off. Does anyone have this option and can they tell me what you actually get for the money other than a set of black powder coated allows that I could do for myself for about £150?
Thanks.PAGODA

tbh you could fit all the bits yourself for half the cost when you get the car!

Yes it's not the wisest investment but it will suit some. May take a bath when it comes to selling it on but it does set the car apart from the regular D4s.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

We've ordered it and yes you get 20", extended roof rails, privacy, black where everything else is chrome.
Not sure how you can do all that for £950 after you've got it though?!
Load rated wheels will cost you £1k let alone the rest.
As for taking a bath on resale I've always bought new cars for my benefit not for the 2nd owner etc. that's just me tho and we'd all be boring if we were the same

I've ordered a Fuji D4 with the Black Design Pack. Looks great
If I was about saving money, I wouldn't have bought a D4 anyway.

When I was at the factory last week there was a hell of a lot of D4's (+LR4's) with black alloys etc parked at various places around the factory waiting to be transported out so it certainly seems popular.Cheers Ian
