D4 Bluetooth Issues

Hi,

I've acquired a D4 bluetooth module and fitted it in place of the factory Nokia D3 module.

Problem is I can't see any bluetooth devices to pair to on my phone! The radio etc all works fine which to me means the MOST bus is connected and the unit has power.

Would a software update with the IID resolve this or have i acquired a duff D4 bluetooth module?

Cheers...

I fitted a D 4 module and one phone works fine, the other is not supported and cannot see it.
You could try a mates phone of a different type to prove the module is working.

You can’t update the D4 module.. so sounds like a duff module

Ok, so I've tried a few different modules to no effect and 3 different phones.

Finally got it working by mounting the bluetooth unit against the bracket rather than it lying on the floor for testing. Strange but seems to be the only variable I changed to get it working!
