D4 callipers vs Brembo's

Looking for some info on the above.

I have the 4 pot Brembo callipers, which use the same size disc as the D4 front brakes.
Due to the Brembo's, if i want a set of 18s for off road tyres, i'm limited to either the Compomotive PD1880/1881. Which is a nice looking wheel but at £290 each, rather expensive.
Or the Prospeed Wheel, also expensive and imho fugly as hell.

In the USA, they can run D3 18 inch SE multispoke wheels with spacers.

Now, my thinking is, if the Brembo and D4 Calliper's are similar size, then in theory, i can go the spacers and D3 SE wheels to get a proper off road tyre without having to take a mortgage to get a set of alloys and tyres sorted.

Has anyone got sizes for them and how they sit on the hub for clearance etc?
