D4 Engine Clarification

Can somebody tell me what other vehicles the D4 sdv6 is used in and when fitted.
Also which models are suffering from the crank issues.
I’m considering swapping my D4 (2016) for either a D5 or FFRR but can’t work out all the differing engine options.
Quite like the idea of a FF (2017or18) but not sure whether the 3.0 is the same as in my D4.

All V6 3.0 Diesels are the same engine, including D5 Disco 5 HSE Lux

Just about to do deal on Velar 275 or 300 and just had same question, spoke to technician at dealer yesterday and said they have had lots Crank issues in 😳 one just came in today, seems would be no better off if same engine as my D4??

Might be the same for me, was thinking of Velar but wasn't sure if we could manage with less room and if the same engine then ?? looked at the Merc GLS today, some really good Discounts at the moment, liked XC90 but we tow tintent 2000kg so not sure about 2litre engine, so may do the same as you and put warranty on ours, But can't decide LR or WD??
