I started off with halogens and have now fitted 2015 facelift headlights to my 2010 d4
And all the static bending and self levelling is working perfectly have had to add wiring and a hcm and hours playing with the iid tool on several different settings and working perfect as if it was done at the factory in a HsE
bought a basic gs myself and have to sort upgrades so will be looking for a used iid any suggestion's?

James
I have a late 2011 HSE with Xenons. Im currently thinking of upgrading to the facelifted front end as not overly keen on the fairy lights. The AFS mod does interest me, but I can’t find what HCM to use. I read previously that the afs module doesn’t work from the D3. Do you have a part number for the module you retrofitted? There seem to be plenty of RRS ones on the Bay but nothing for the D4.

I have a 2010 D4 GS spec, Ive got 2016 facelift Xenon with DRLs, what is the correct ccf edits required to make these work properly? Im not interested in adding additional wiring.
Thanks.

ive just upgraded mine from 2011 Halogens to 2015 DRL Xenons
IIRC the CCF edits are
DRL - Standard
Xenon
and in a hidden IID menu that you need to ask Pat @Gap for access to (FOC) you need to unconfigure main beam. This allows the lights to flash when in normal daytime. 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

If you can
Buy them
Separately which I would think not
Then you would have to split the lens from the headlight
On a d3 that’s heat in oven for 8 mins at 89 deg but have heard the glue on d4 is stronger and na on impossible
Yep, in my 2014 LHD I tried to remove the lens, but the glue won't give up.
