D4 Fuel Use

Just been looking at the LR specs for the D4. The fuel economy on the 3.0l diesel is much better than old 2.7 urban, a bit better in mixed but not much different at extra urban.

Since extra urban is 56 mph, following the same curves the MPG at 70 mph would be worse than the old 2.7. Can this be right?
