I was poised to ask that very question.
I thought my supplying dealer had forgotten to fit this mat when I collected the new car (like they forgot to give me the bloody locking wheel nut adaptor). Only to discover on the forum that its meant to be slippery plastic, can't understand why they did that?
Anyway thanks for sharing.

It did cross my mind to do the little one, but doing rectangles was easy!
I've got tonnes of the stuff so will give it a go.

I luckily managed to get an offcut for a few quid - still wondering what what to do with the rest. Maybe put some in the rear cubby bins in the boot. Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond

I've got about 5 square metres left, so should be enough for the rear bins too!

Thinking on it more - I think I may just about have enough for an extra mat for the tailgate to cover the carpet area when loading stuff into the boot (I have the LR rubber mat there). I reckon it should be thin enough to push under the load-bay mat when not in use. Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
