D4 Group Buy - Sign UP
Hi All,
This is a new thread for a possible Disco4 group buy.
I have been in touch with 3 dealers and they are offering a % based on a certain number of motors.
Can all those who have signed up to Andrew's thread, please do so here as this will become the official thread.
All details will probably be dealt with via PM as the dealer (s) do not want info in the public domain.
I am expecting the negotiations will be on a % from list without no part exchange - however, PX could be possible near the time of delivery - October - Jan. We'll need to wait until then. Deposits will be taken on the % off list basis - anything else that follows is in the lap of the gods!
Ok, so nothing firm but plans are afoot. I do not need spec's at present just a rough number of I'm planning on changing for a D4 at that time and would be keen to take part in the discount.

Okay, i'm living in Bahrain, if i do buy a D4 from the UK. Do i still have to pay taxes and all? And how much does it cost to ship it to where i live.
Looking at the prices including taxes posted on this forums, it is almost the same when converted into Bahraini Dinars.

Ali, if you're going to buy abroad, buy in Dubai!
I paid the equivalent of £28,000 for a new fully loaded LR3 V8 HSE last year from the Dealer (Al Tayer Motors). That is A LOT cheaper than in the UK.
Oh hang on... EDIT: apparently the exchange rates have changed quite a bit since then! it's now the equivalent of £36,000.... still cheaper though.

added name but probably looking at the later end of that range for vehicle replacement Neil....unless somthing magic happens in the meantime end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Wow, you got yours on the cheap eh?
I might seriously consider buying from Dubai then.. It is cheaper by around 3-4k
I will be looking at an HSE model, have you got to know the prices?

I think right now the price for a 2009 HSE V8 full option is 210,000 AED. Don't know what the LR4 pricing is going to be like but I'm sure you could give them a call and find out!
