Not sure if you have seen the plates that fit over the release plates.
4x4 Overlander sell them or on eBay.
Also make lifting the tabs easier if you need to remove the lamps at any time.
Ryan Wild on here makes them too. Can't recall his username at the mo ... Will look when on PC later..
