Picked up my 9 month old HSE on Thursday and absolutely loving it!
One, possibly stupid, question - does the Sat Nav cover Europe as well as the UK? I notice it does not come with any extra discs as in the Freelander and believe the 'maps' are loaded onto a hard drive?  2017 Discovery Sport HSE, Firenze Red

As standard it will cover western Europe ( as far over as Austria )
Go to destination entry .. The map on right shows the coverage area ( in white )
U select different countries via the right most button ( above the back button) G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks Wiggs. I did look quickly at the manual but it didn't seem to say a lot about coverage. I'll go and have a play when I get 5 minutes  2017 Discovery Sport HSE, Firenze Red

Now then RegG, what you've got to learn is that this is a Land Rover, and Land Rover owners don't read manuals! That's why they tell you nowt.
