Nice light seat covers yet black carpets and trim, which is what I like for the boot.

Well I called and they said no.
Then they called me back and left me messages to say yes if I called back by 4pm.
Got the message after 5pm, called and said yes but now I am too late!
They will try again on Monday but they said the list is closed so probably not possible to change.
Bummer.

Does anyone know how long between your order going through, and the car rolling off the assembly line? Reason I ask is my dealer has/has a early Dec slot, and was going to put my order through then, but I specifically want a 2013 build car, and suspect early Dec will be end Dec completion date, hence 2012 build date, so have ask them to put my order through on their next slot.
Is my assumption correct?

Don't know the answer to your first question but MY13 cars started in Oct (ish) with full production runs in Nov and Dec so the slot offered would be a MY13.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
there are clauses that delivery dates are "due dates"...that have to be adhered to.
There may be a situation that the dealer in question are in breach of contract....
A few days or a week or two OK.
Months just isnt on....my XK was at the dealers & couldnt be handed over due to a document not being furnished (not in the mainland delivery) I collected the XK a week late & was given an amount of compensation....no bad blood either as it was Jaguar that was at fault.
You have to consider the losses you will incurr - the main one being the reduced amut your existing vehicel is worth or can be slod on at (presuming a your dealer hasnt made a firm offer for this)..there are quite a few other losses.BREXIT - done properly.

There is case law which states that the dealer is not responsible under contract for manufacturing delays.
Anyway ...mine was built 2 weeks ago and is due at the dealer today or tomorrow..so I should be sat in it by the end of the week 8)21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I didn't want just a MY13, but an actual 2013 built car, hence the later build.
