LED interior lights
hmmmm fitted led lights (from Advanced Factors) in the interior of my D4, and all work - sort of. Map lights don't turn on when going along, but sometimes when stopped some combination of button presses makes them come on. Front ones only work if middle row is switched on, and that's sporadic. No warning lights on dashboard, but I'm guessing this is some form of issue with these leds and canbus?

Try refitting the std bulbs and if the issues go away you can defo say where the problem lays.
Ive got leds on every inside lamp and puddle lamps with no issues D3 though.

I've replaced all of my interior bulbs with LED's from Steve (MY2015) and they all work as they should, I did find with the puddle lights that they didn't work straight away but after I had let the car go to sleep they then worked Cheers Ian

HI Guys,
Yesterday I fitted all inside LED lights in my D3, let me say that looks like an aircraft inside
Since the installation my right indicator has decided to go crazy and now goes twice as quick???
I guess the question is, Have I missed anything?
Tx

Quite often these LEDs lights only work in one direction (by their very nature current only flows in one direction through a diode assembly). Some manufacturers compensate for dual direction; but then some do not as it cheaper to construct.
Just try reversing them around in the first instance (those that you have the issue with of course).
Double quick indicators is usually a sign one lamp (in your case LED) is not working/connected correctly.
Worth a try and only takes a few seconds to confirm "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

I'm currently decided whether to replace my LED bulbs with the originals, as whilst the extra light is welcome, they seem unreliable.
One didn't work on arrival (regardless of the direction fitted) and now two puddle lamp bulbs have failed in the past month, so whilst I know I could have them replaced I'm starting to think they are not worth it and will just keep one in the boot.Andy

I fitted out the interior with LEDs from AF, no problems. I bought LED reverse lights from another supplier but the O/S one flickers occasionally.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green
