I scoffed when I saw the heated wheel on the options list for my disco, I have to say it's so nice to have a heated wheel, plus it's not even that cold yet Jaguar I-Pace HSE imminent.
Gone HSE with Flappy Paddles. IID BT tool. RLD Spare Protector, Altox GPS.

I'm not 100% sure but the old and new are physically different as can be seen in the earlier post

If you look at the PCB inside you can see reference to FFRR L322 so I'd be pretty certain it is the same unit used on the FFRR although the connecting cables may be different.
The FFRR modules come up on eBay pretty often around Ā£30

This is a module I picked up from eBay advertised as for the FFRR.
I paid peanuts for it and am keeping it as a spare.
The only differences I can see to the one in the D4 is the connecting cables

this is a mine field....you know what I think I'm going to back the wheel I bought and hold out for a complete wheel from the year I need to appear... I'm worried I eventually get the ecu needed then the switch wont be compatible... time to walk away from this nightmare I think.

There's another thread on here where someone has the older switches but needs the newer one & ECU so have a search! There is (was) also the correct ECU for your age motor on eBay for about Ā£40. Keep the wheel as it'll be fine. D4 - Stornoway Grey
