D4 seats into D3 question. |
|
I have a 2009 D3 XS and have fitted electric front seat from a 2016 D4 commercial. I have got everything working regarding seat adjustments, thanks in no small way to very helpful threads on here.
The only thing i cant get working though is the electric Lumbar adjustment on the drivers seat. Has anyone else found the solution to this please?

Have you used a passenger switchpacket?
I have, so the adjustment is missing. Thinking of using something like this switch (with a smaller knob)
Easy enough to wire it up.

But haven't missed the adjustment enough jet 😋

No. It came with the switch on each seat. The passenger seat is manual adjustment, but the drivers is electric. Three buttons.

So you still got the original driver side switchpacket, using the memory ECU?

They are not memory seats.

Then in not sure what the problem is. Sorry.
Thought you had done the mod with changing switchpacket and rewire it.

Fixed.
After looking, and relooking at a wiring diagram for ages, it suddenly dawned in me that the feed plug for the Lumbar pump on the D4 seat didnt have a feed going to it from my D3 loom. Ran a wire to it this morning, and now it works pefectly. 👍
