Yesterday and today i got the D4 ready for whatever the winter weather throws at it....... hopefully.
New set of deep threaded LTZ's fitted today.
Checked all fluids and filled washer bottle with concentrate screen wash.
Cleaned all internal & external windows.
RainX'd front screen & all lights.
Carpet mats out and full set of rubber mats in.
Shovel, mats, blanket, fleece, jacket, hat, gloves, snow boots, waterproofs to boot.
Jetboil water, coffee & ready meals plus flapjacks & snacks.
Check - jack, brace, wheel locker, puncture repair aerosol, spare wheel & hoist, fluorescent jacket, head torch and hand torch.
Extra concentrate washer fluid, checked first aid kit, tow rope & securing straps.
I even washed the blooming thing yesterday .... but absolutely no idea why ..... the thing is as dirty as before
Now what have I forgot to mention. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Ron,
Only other things I'd have put in are, mars bars, cyalume sticks or a couple of HLS markers if you can get hold of them,
Doss bag incase you get stuck on a mtwy in freezing fog or deep snow / multiple pile up. and a small 2 man tent in case you have to de buss onto the hard shoulder / embankment !
And a power monkey or similar to charge up a phone,
Turbo flame fag lighter, cos you know when you go to brew up the piezo in the jet boil will be damp.
Anything else Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Full tank of jungle juice top priority or you're not going anywhere. And if you are really serious snow chains(I have even needed towing out with them on). It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
