Finland 2005 Discovery 3 4.4 V8 HSE Auto Cairns BlueDiscovery 3

It’s actually automatic and dependent on ambient temperature and wipers on both D3 and D4.

Workshop manual page http://workshop-manuals.com/landrover/lr3/...page_2784/

Can’t find a URL for D4 outside of TOPIx which is paywalled.

From looking a thing that it could easily be the relay. Without pulling the bonnet lining down and getting a voltmeter on the connector it would be impossible to tell what was having an effect. It's all starting to look like a fair bit of hassle. Sad

For the man who stripped a D3 at the side of the road 1000+ miles from home to say it's too much hassle, that under bonnet insulation must be the best fixed part on any vehicle on the planet Laughing

But it's cold out there and I've just put the log burner on. Plus I'll need SWMBO's assistance, that's going to take careful planning!! Big Cry Big Cry

Just another Discovery function that doesn't work properly. Those on my MY16 did nothing.
