It has to be worth a try if you really want in-car DAB. I assume you want access to some of the non-FM stations? My one concern would be the quality of the antenna they provide: the blurb says that it's a through-glass one. They work well at higher frequencies (GSM at 900MHz for example) but I don't have any experience of them in Band III (where the DAB transmissions are). If I was experimenting with it, I'd probably also buy a mag-mount antenna and cut it to length because I'm willing to bet that it would provide much better reception. If you get one, I'd be interested to hear how well it works.

Already got a portable like it but reception is marginal so prob needs a decent antenna....will try it out tho'

I don't think you'll be dissapointed with he D3 Very Happy .......effective DAB radio solutions on the other hand will frustrate.

Ask yourself why the mainstream motor and radio manufacturers haven't opted for it as a standard mobile installation Wink 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
