Dart Charge
I needed to use the Dartford bridge and tunnel last week and have in the past used it so am already an account holder for the bridge charging scheme, set up with auto pay.
Used it both ways and today received a PCN for each trip, so logged into my account and see it is set to auto pay but showing as closed, the charge hadn't been applied, and the account had no balance - annoying as they closed the account down with a positive balance as it hadnt been used for 12 months Previously I think it had £15.00 balanceMust stop buying shiny toys....
I'm just in process of reclaiming my credit ... same . I wanted to make sure I'd enough credit but they've told me account closed and cheque in the post..

My account was closed, and £1.30 sent back by cheque!
You can open a new account, they just don't hold money in credit for you any more.Richard

Had the same issue had money on the account so should have been taken ,got a cheque and then a penalty charge for both ways I rang them and kicked of as I had no warning the account had been closed
Fair play to the guy on the phone he stopped the penalty charge and just asked me to pay for the two crossingsD3 in Buckingham blue now SWMBO's Mine D4 commercial

I used mine for the 1st time on 21-8-2020 and not since Oct 2019 and it's still active. I must have just scraped in

Had an email from them recently telling me my account had been suspended as I hadn't used it for 12 months. I had to use it within 90 days or add to my balance. Went on line and closed account and credit balance refunded within a couple of days.

Seems a bit daft really, why not just hold the money as it costs them nothing to keep it all of the administration work to send me the money back as a cheque then go through the process again for the same car...
Must be organised by the same people who cant count Covid tests
Must stop buying shiny toys....
