Dash Display "Drivers Door Open" |
|
Hi,
keep getting message on dash that "drivers door is open", interior light does not go out and cannot set alarm.
Eventually clears, cannot find connection on door frame for contact.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

I had the same problem.
Dealer first changed the door lock then changed the door wiring loom which cured it.
With the drivers door open, waggle the rubber bit that covers the wiring loom between the door and body.
It worked for me

Known fault
Replace lock and door wiring loom - will cure it
(beware, window switch pack may not be compatable, check wiring plugs, or your windows won't work !!) Never get mad - get even !!
