What a Day . . .

Just got home from picking my brother up from Stockport . . . .





Which is all well and good, apart from the fact that he was out training with his mountain bike team yesterday, and after a 5 hour ride through the peaks, fell off 200 meters from his van.

Fracture dislocation of his shoulder and fractured clavicle. Air Ambulance to Stepping Hill - and all day to get him discharged and home Embarassed

Being pinned tomorrow a bit closer to home - he did thank me for picking him up in the Discovery "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Stepping Hill was OK, good discharge. All xrays etc on CD, fantastic letter of referal - but a little bit weird to just not get on and pin it . . . .

Probably took longer to refer to Leicester than it would have taken to write up for theatre, book a slot, find an Orthopod and just do it Laughing "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."
