Dealer giving me Disco 4 for the weekend
When I ordered my Disco 4 from my local dealer in the 1st week of Jan 2013 I said that a condition from me was the dealer must give me a new Disco 4 to drive over a weekend from Friday to Monday .
Well he agreed and this weekend I am picking the Disco 4 from Dealer to drive over the weekend.
I wanted ask you guys I am thinking to go over to North Wales with it and visit Snowdonia andstay overnight at Llandudno with the family. Is this a worth while trip with the Disco 4?

You could go to Rhyl and test the wheel lock nuts Mainly dual carriageways around there now, you could go up to Betsy-coed and find some hills to try, just make sure some of the oldies out for the day don't scrape it, i would think you will be signing an excess form of some sort so at least the first £500 of any damage will be down to you, parking up and around there is tight as well as you know, so take it easy

Buy an OS map for Snowdonia and find some green lanes to test the off roading.
(And, BTW, as a forum member over 50 I may qualify as an "oldie". It's not too far from me, so be careful out there) I love the smell of FBH in the morning... The smell, you know that gasoline smell... Smells like...victory!
Careful, your probably not insured for offroad on the disclaimer you sign. Have a great trip though, you will be hooked !

Wow! I drove the Disco MY13 HSE this weekend and I fell in love with the car. I drove to Snowdonia and we did not even feel tired at the end of the journey. The car is sublime and its air suspension was really smooth.
I returned back on Sunday afternoon and the rain was chucking down, but I was in the 4x4 and I have super traction in the wet. I was also impressed with the acceleration and speed this big monster can maintain.
I woke up this morning at 5 am and there was snow everywhere so before I returned the car I went out in the country lanes and single track roads to have fun. I was so impressed that the Disco 4 climbed a steep snowy hill with ease.
I have my Disco 4 HSE Luxury on order and cant wait to get it next month.
