Good idea. Heard a few horror stories of dealer washing, added to the fact that I'm very OCD with car washing - always leave a note on the dash and tell the service manager when I drop it off. MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

I find that a request to my local indie not to wash the car always works. It also shortens the service time since it doesn't sit around waiting to be washed. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

Used to be precious about my cars but with two young kids ive given up.

The thought of hovering it out gives me shivers now Very Happy Last of the D4 HSE...

I taught my kids how to hoover the car from the age of 5 Laughing

I dont let the dealer wash my car either they use a broom thing with a hose pipe attached and i saw it propped up broom end down one day.

They did call me when it was in to have the ladder replaced asking if they can wash it as it was too dirty to work on (caked in mud) i let them hose if off Laughing MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten
