Devon Lane Scratches

Just driven down to spend a couple of days with friends in Devon.

The lanes are VERY narrow around here with lots of overgrown braken and brambles.

As my disco is two days old it was painful listening to the scratching......

I am pretty sure it will all polish out, but should I worry and does anyone have any tips for dealng with this sort of thing?

Yes, have another drink and chill out.
Seriously, do a search for G3 - a polish that was recommended. I've got some dog claw scratches, but haven't been @rsed to get them out. Indeed, I've only washed the car down once in a year's ownership and the only decent clean it's had was the first service valet at the dealers.

Your right!

Reading my post again made me realise how sad I am....... Not normally so anal.

A drink is certainly the right idea and relax back to having a car covered in mud.

I've washed mine every 2 weeks sincxe new (end Apr). D2 got washed every 2 years so I guess I'll get out of that routine pretty quickly! Laughing

RLD,

I admitted I was sad, but as the D3 is two days old I couldn't stop myself. All my other cars end up covered in crap and dont often get cleaned.

The D3 just looks so good when its clean.

2 days old? Shocked Its not sad to be worried about scratches when its that new. Bramble scratches should polish out ok, though.

Picked up my first ones on Sunday, and mines 9 months old, but I'm surprised its taken this long.

My cars only get washed about 3 times - twice when they're new and then once again just before I sell them!

the problem is it wasnt dirty enough...... the thicker the layer of dirt the less it gets scratched. Laughing
