ok, it's trivial I know but I bought some nice USB cigarette lighter jobbies that light up when powered up and I've plugged one into each of the sockets astride the gear lever area.
unfortunately, they tend to twist slightly as cables are plugged/unplugged until they find the "gaps" in the sides of the socket. They work fine in this position but they are at odd angles with respect to the surrounding trim and not even at the same angle.
So the OCD part of me now wants to make them look "right" ... both the same and preferably either inline with central line front/back through the car or at 90 degrees to that.
2 options ...
a) glue ?
b) rotate the 12v sockets so it happens naturally.
i'd prefer 2nd option but is it possible and f so, how easy is it to do ?.

Or take the minimum effort = maximum results. One of these blocks, bit of velcro & off you go.

My colleague and I were given free lighter socket to USB adaptors at a conference. Obviously cheap, Chinese made I guess. His caught fire when he plugged his phone into it! I threw mine away! Richard
