differance between the v6 2.7 and v6 3.0

Maybe a dumb question this what is the difference between the v6 2.7 and v6 3.0 other that one is a euro3/4 and also the twin turbo/performance.

So the question is can you use a v6 3.0 to replace it as a v6 2.7 engine instead. and will the back plates be the same/bell housing.

You can but i think and i stand to be corrected the D3 electrics will not talk to it as the can bus speed is different Thumbs Up Discovery 3 se gone
Range rover sport supercharged here:)

Would that be even if you replaced the parts to make it a v6 2.7 from the v6 3.0 lump????the cambus problem.

The 3.0 engine can be fitted with 2.7 ancillaries and run quite happily like that Thumbs Up

Hopefully, while making less power, the crank will last a little longer too Laughing My D3 Build Thread

Cheers D M and I would presume that the injectors for the d4 v6 3.0 would work ok or would they need replacing too ??
