Don't you just know that means it will invalidate any warranty unless you pay a stealer £k's to do the retro-fit SJR, think yer got the wrong end of the stick matey, any tacho has to be fitted/inspected by a VOSA authorised centre, Seimens/VDO (or VDO as they are known) are one of the main players for such devises.
As for warranty, not a problem, we have an analogue one fitted by our authorised VOSA centre, LR are not able to fit them and would politely reffer you to an authorised partner which is VDO, not had any issues re warranty either
