yes I've had enough of this big brother-little brother thing. I'll just stick to my little corner of the world and look after number 1 and not assume that I can save the world. maybe it's due to the fact that I couldn't give a flying feck about overseas issues which have no bearing on my day to day life

But you know why we have a Tunnel now not far from Dunkerque ? So that you can save on the wear and tear on boats the next time the Germans are coming !

Once worked for a Japanese company in London and they had a problem with the "history" in the computer system (archived older data), it basically needed tweaking a bit. Japanese senior manager was saying "history is history, you no change history" to which my reply (not too loudly as I neede the job) was "why not, you guys have been changing history since 1945!
Just thought I'd bring in a intercontinental feel to this quality debate!

Well, right now, where I am, rewriting history is quite a common debate ! Nobody can even agree on where the border should be ! So they are discussing with AK...

UK built 4x4 heading to the Cote d'Azur for bit of beach life, returning via Bordeaux for replenishment of the essentials or life, all the time scoffing all that foooooood! I want to go now!

Only when I had it up in Scotland many years ago, with brown sugar & cream. Drooooooool! Certainly helped the hangover!
PS We Scots cook porridge with salt, not eat it with salt, I've never come accross anyone that actually eats it with salt! Unless U know better out in cyberspace????????

thats what we used to do as kids (cook with salt Yummy) but now it's all quick oats. just add water and nuke it,looks like something a horse would eat. I'll stick to my sultana bran.
back to topic for a bit, is that type of connection common or do you use a ball more for offroading

The Army uses these hitches. In Oz they're called 'pintle mounts'.
They were (are??) and option for the Defender and took the towing capacity up to 4000kg. Have a nice day!
