Dip Beam Problems

have an interesting problem with dip beam on my D4 commercial.
Drivers side dip beam went off yesterday. I assumed a failed bulb. Passenger side went off today. Two new bulbs fitted and still only got passenger side back.
Further investigation show a good 12.8v at the terminals with no bulb attached, and the bulb tests ok when fitted to the other side. When the bulb is fitted there is no voltage showing on my Meter, but when the bulb is removed the voltage reappears

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

If it's still under Warranty take it back to the Dealer or give LR Assistance a call and let them sort it out for you.

Hi are your bulbs standard watts eg 55w??
The disappearing volts on your meter is the fet protection in the cjb
If it detects any short /overheat / overload ect it triggers and stops any power to the circuit if u turn the ignition off light off then wait then turn ignition on then lights on you should see a volt on meter then cut off as the fet actvates
Have u swooped the head lights a cross to see if it's the head lamp unit
Hope is helps
If under warranty provided u have standard bulbs
Should be covered under warranty
