Disco 3 or 4
Hi all
Going to be getting rid of my hilux and looking at either a disco 3 or 4.
I have a budget of around 15k.
Problem is I don't know wether to go for a high spec disco 3 with low mileage or go with a low spec GS disco 4 with similar mileage, low spec dosnt worry me as longs as it has Cruise control.
Which comes onto my next question. Is it possible to retrofit Crusoe control to a d4 with the right parts.
Any advice would be much appreciated
Cheers
Jack

For £15k!- that won't leave much spare for when the crankshaft goes ping It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Got a budget of around 15000. Was looking at the 8 speed but there either to expensive or high mileage

Get a D3 V8 Petrol with LPG? For example on these forums there is at least one
And the rest of your budget you keep earning in ETFs or something until you need to break the piggy bank and then spend on service and repairs

Personally I wouldn't buy a £15k D4, not unless it was a massive bargain. With your budget I'd be looking at the best D3 you can get.

I'd get an older high spec well cared for D3 (you'd probably get something really nice under £10K) and keep the rest of your budget for maintaining it.2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +
2022 Tesla Model Y LR... almost Carpathian Grey
